Although Glendale is synonymous with Armenians, the bordering cities such as Burbank, La Crescenta, La Canada, and Tujunga have also begun to see their own communities develop as Armenians move out of Glendale for various reasons.

Burbank : Situated north-west of Glendale, Burbank is one of the largest cities bordering Glendale. Irrespective of its close proximity to Glendale, Armenians have only recently began moving into this city as property prices began significantly rising in Glendale beginning in late 1990s and early 2000s.

La Crescenta : Situated directly north of Glendale, La Crescenta is a small, hillside, city of about 20,000 residents. The city has had at least a sliver of Armenian population for as long as Glendale has had its Armenian population.

La Canada Flintridge : An affluent and quite town of only about 20,000 residents, La Canada Flintridge has the least number of Armenians of all the bordering cities of Glendale. This city, bordering Glendale on its north-eastern side, has about 650 Armenians according to the 2000 US national census. Armenian establishments in La Canada Flintridge are only a handful, not only due to the city's small size and population, but also due to the fact that the city is mostly a residential town, with very little shops and commercial establishments to begin with.

Tujunga : Info coming soon.
