Nor Serount is the newest of a series of Armenian-Cypriot clubs. It is affiliated with SDHP Hunchakian. It opened its doors in 2006, very close to the two larger clubs (AYMA and AGBU) and the Melkonian Educational Institute. Its premises were inaugurated on 11/05/2007 by Lebanese-Armenian intellectual Bebo Simonian, in the presence of Archbishop Varoujan Hergelian and Armenian-Cypriot MP Vartkes Mahdessian. The club activities mainly focus in organising social and cultural events, such as discussions and lectures. Simultaneously with the opening of the club, a branch of the Homenmen futsal team was formed, giving the opportunity to its members to play football (soccer). It currently competes in the 3rd Amateurs' Division of futsal.
