Raffi's Place

Probably the most popular of all Armenian restaurants in Glendale is Raffi's Place, or more commonly referred to by the locals as just Raffi Kabob. This cozy little restaurant features mainly outside seating (with heaters) and a small indoor dining room. The entrees are mostly kabob with a strong influence of Iranian traditions and spices such as saffron covered rice, sumac seasoning, and numerous Iranian based appetizers. A diverse crowd of people pack the restaurant for both lunch and dinner, and the food is excellent whether you dine in or get it to go. But, be ready to pay slightly higher prices than most other kabob eateries, as Raffi's has capitalized on its popularity and good food through higher menu prices over the years.

Reviews for Raffi's Place

I had heard a lot about this place and finally had a chance to try this place out over the weekend. It is definitely one of the better kabob houses in LA. The meat was very tender, juicy, and tasteful. My companion had the fish (I think it was Mahi Mahi) and she loved it.

The place itself is pretty small and intimate, but also pretty loud. Nice staff too. Would definitely go back again.
