Zankou Chicken

Although not authentic Armenian, Zankou's fast food has a great deal of Armenian and Middle Eastern influence. This family owned restaurant originally started in Lebanon, but when the family immigrated to California, they brought along their recipes and entrepreneurship to open a new store in Hollywood in 1984. Over the years, the restaurant has expanded to other nearby locations, including Pasadena. Many of the dishes come with the traditional Middle-Eastern Hummus as a side-dish, and other delicious items such as Mutabball can also be found on the menu.
