The Forty Martyrs Church has been serving the Orange County Armenian community since 1986 when construction was completed and it's doors opened for service. The church resides on a wide street with numerous other churches around it. Of the handful of churches nearby, the Forty Martyrs Church is the most distinguishable due to its large dome which can be spotted blocks away, and its unique Armenian church style.

Sharing a campus with the church are the Ari Guiragos Minassian Armenian School, which serves as an Armenian preschool and K-6 school, and Gugasian Hall, which serves as a venue for small concerts, conferences, and other events.
