Located in the Twin Peaks neigborhood of San Francisco, St. John Armenian Apostolic Church (Western Diocese) sits atop the second highest hill (first being Mt. Davidson) in San Francisco. Built and consecrated in 1957, the church organization existed for many years before the actual building.
Since 1942 the church has hosted an annual Armenian Food Festival (usually in late October), which attracts many Armenians as well as non-Armenians to try out Armenian ethnic foods and discover the Armenian culture. Check Events section for this year's exact dates of the festivities.
